I've finally finshed this drawing! After nearly a year, hurrah!
So this has been sitting on my computer scanned for a very long time (you can find the sketch in my scraps). I actually planned for this picture to have a dramatic background because I need more practise at doing backgrounds or my characters.
So as I've been lacking the internet the last few weeks and finally got my computer up to London I decided to colour this. It took around two days to colour and the background was quite hard.
I hope it's ok, it's not that detailed but it's a start.
Drawn in mechanical pencil and coloured in Photoshop CS2!
C&C is very welcome especially on the background ^_^
Wow That looks so incredible! The background looks like a photo, how did you paint that? I love all the different colours and textures in the background, the shadows you put there look so amazing
I really like the girl too - her outfit and tattoo are so so pretty I also really love her long fingers.

So make all your fat, fleshy fingers to moving, and pluck all your silly strings. Bend all your notes for me; soft, silly music is meaningful, magical... 'Twas all you were needing when you still believed in me.
Actually at first I thought the background was a picture too lol. I like the fact that you referenced it from a real photo because it makes it look familar.
The lines around the character are kind of pixelated or rather they give the impression that you drew them with crayon or pencil because they're not uniform. Not exactly a bad thing I'm just pointing it out in case you didn't notice because I'm so used to seeing more solid ink lines from all the webcomics I read.
Looks great though overall and I can't really think of any critque other than the ink lines, but what do I know I can hardly draw.

I referenced the background from a photo because I had no idea where to start! I'll definitely have to start doing it more often!
Thank you so much for the comments!
Thank you for your comments though, I'm glad you still stop by to check out my art! I'll hopefully get more up soon. I hope you are well x
